Facilitation and Workshops
Good facilitation helps groups think together, listen well, and move toward shared understanding. I design and hold spaces that support clarity, collaboration, and practical action.
Sometimes it’s invaluable to have an independent facilitator — someone who can guide the process for your group while you take part fully.
I work with you to understand the purpose of your session, who’s involved, and the outcomes you’re hoping for. Depending on your needs, I draw on a range of participatory and asset‑based methods, including:
Action Learning Sets
Open Space
Community of Enquiry
Appreciative Inquiry
World Café.
If you’re looking for something more tailored — for team development, planning or reviewing work — a bespoke workshop may be the right choice.
"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for facilitating an excellent annual review day for WWAMH. It was perfect and covered everything we needed and it really helped everyone to get to know each other better and to contribute to the future development of WWAMH. Thank you for enabling us all to have such a fun, engaging and lovely day." Director, West Wales Action for Mental Health
Facilitation.
Facilitated Workshops.
Workshops designed and delivered for organisations in the third and non-profit sector in Mid and West Wales.
Workshops are designed around your context and aims. These workshops are particularly suited to team development and collaborative planning.
I help groups:
Build shared understanding
Explore challenges or opportunities
Strengthen relationships and purpose
Move from ideas to practical next steps
Using creative, participatory methods, I design and facilitate sessions where people can contribute fully, reflect and learn together.
With over two decades of experience working with groups, I’ve seen how well‑held spaces help people listen deeply, notice what’s emerging, and find new ways forward.
"I’m not always comfortable in similar type sessions, but yesterday’s group was excellent. Hugely positive and inspiring." Workshop participant
"[The workshop gave us] the opportunity to focus not only on our strengths as individuals and as a team but also a truly positive and exciting vision for the future. I thought the session worked perfectly in drawing us along to think openly and collaboratively about where we want to go." Flu Team Leader
