We're just having a conversation...but some conversations are different.
Coaching
My online coaching practice offers a quiet, reflective space to think new thoughts, understand yourself more deeply, and find a way forward that feels true to you.
Why People Come to Coaching
People often seek coaching when something feels unclear or in transition — a shift in identity, a change in direction, or a sense that life no longer fits in the way it once did.
For many people in the third and charity sectors, the pace and pressure of the work can leave very little room to pause, reflect, or consider what you need. Coaching offers a place that isn’t directive or prescriptive — simply a place to explore what’s happening and what matters now.
What Coaching Can Help With
People come to coaching when they are:
Feeling stuck or sensing that something no longer fits
Navigating transitions such as retirement, career change, identity shifts, or the impact of illness
Carrying significant responsibility with little space for themselves
Wanting to explore new possibilities or reconnect with what matters
Wherever you’re starting from, I help you make sense of your experience and move toward a way of living that feels more like your own.

The space we create is calm, unhurried, and genuinely collaborative. There’s room to reflect, to feel, and to explore what’s important at your own pace.
I offer presence and clear, steady attention, supporting you to approach your experience with curiosity. Through thoughtful questions, we explore your world and find new insights. My coaching grows out of shared human experience — navigating uncertainty, seeking meaning, and finding a path that feels authentic.
How Coaching Works
Sessions last one hour and take place online, usually on Teams, though I’m happy to use whatever platform works best for you. Coaching is accessible wherever you’re based.
You can choose a rhythm that suits you — often every 2–4 weeks, but it can be more or less frequent. Some people come for a single session; others prefer a longer series. There’s no right way to begin.
What It’s Like to Work Together
Confidentiality
Everything we discuss is held with care, respect, and confidentiality. This is your space to explore freely and without judgement. What you share in coaching stays between us, with the usual ethical exceptions around safety of yourself or others. If anything like that ever arose, we would talk about it together.
Questions people often ask
What actually happens in a coaching session
Each session is a calm, unhurried conversation. You bring whatever feels present or important – work, personal, or anything in between - and we explore it together in a way that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to arrive with a plan.
What if I’m not sure what I want to talk about on the day
That’s completely fine. It’s very common. We can begin with what’s been on your mind or in your body. Often what we need to work on becomes clear once we sit down together.
How is coaching different from counselling or therapy
Counselling and therapy often focus on healing or processing past experiences. Coaching is more present‑focused. It offers space to explore what’s happening now, what feels important, and what might need to shift. If therapy ever feels that it might be more supportive, we can talk about that together.
What if I get emotional or need time to think?
All of that is welcome. Coaching is a spacious, non‑directive environment where you don’t have to hold everything together or fill in all the space. There is room for silence, emotion, and uncertainty.
Do I need to have a clear goal before we start
Not at all. Many people begin with a feeling rather than a destination — a sense that something needs to change. Clarity often emerges once we create some space around what’s going on.
How do you make sure sessions feel safe and respectful
I work in a way that is open, spacious, and non‑directive. You choose what to share, and you’re never pushed to go somewhere you don’t want to. My role is to offer presence, curiosity, and care — not pressure.
How will we know if coaching is helping
We check in together. Sometimes the signs are subtle — more ease, more clarity, a sense of coming back to yourself. Sometimes they’re more practical. I encourage you to let me know what’s working and what you need.
An Invitation
You’re welcome to book a free, informal chat — a chance to meet, ask questions, and get a sense of whether coaching feels right for you. Coaching is for everyone, so even if you don't work in the third sector in Mid and West Wales, please feel free to contact me.
