I’m Jan — a coach and facilitator with more than twenty years’ experience across public health, mental health, and the third sector. My career has taken me through organisational development in charities, strategic and partnership roles in public health, systems‑thinking projects, and one‑to‑one practice as a homeopath.
I’ve been a trainer, a practitioner, a manager, a group facilitator, and now a qualified coach. What ties these roles together is a long‑standing curiosity about how people and systems learn, adapt, and create change — and how the right kind of space can help that happen.

About Jan Batty
What Shapes My Work
My background in mental health and one‑to‑one practice means I’m comfortable with the full range of human experience — the clarity and the uncertainty, the emotion and the complexity. I bring a calm presence, curiosity, and a belief that people flourish when they’re given time and attention.
I’ve also spent many years working with groups, designing and facilitating spaces where people can think together, listen well, and spark new ideas. I love the energy that emerges when people gather with a shared purpose.
