Thank you for visiting my website. I'm Jan and throughout my working life I have found myself alongside people who want to develop and learn, to understand themselves better and to find their place in the world. I’ve been a trainer, a manager, a homeopath, a facilitator of groups and now I am a trained and qualified coach.
For the past two decades I have worked in public health, first delivering an award-winning project in the third sector and then in a Public Health Team in the NHS at a strategic level. I’ve studied what helps people change – from inside and outside.
My time in mental health in the third sector and as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, along with my one-to-one therapeutic work and life experience, gives me confidence to be with whatever comes up.
Creating space and designing a structure where people can work together to understand an issue, to listen to each other’s diverse perspectives and to learn has been a thread that’s run through the work I’ve done in workshops and team development. Through one-to-one coaching I now continue this work with individuals - something that feels very much like coming home.
